My wife and I had the pleasure to work with Marie on the interior design of our Westerly, RI beach home. Brought on early after the initial architectural design phase of the project, Marie developed a fantastic relationship with our architect and positively affected the interior space design as regards traffic patterns, sight lines, and space use as relates to our lifestyle. For example: she suggested adding return walls in some areas to hide otherwise unattractive room entrances. Marie introduced us to various eco-friendly, weather, and moisture resistant finishes, from bamboo flooring to kitchen and bath cabinetry that we would not have otherwise considered. Her help selecting cabinet door styles and hardware, lighting, and plumbing fixtures, and her assistance tile shopping in the showroom, was a real time saver. (next) |
